Group shuttles operate on Saturdays for groups of 4 or more, providing a scenic three-hour drive exclusively for Blue Spirit guests. The service runs between 11:30 AM and 5:30 PM, aligning with most U.S. flight arrivals.

If your shuttle has fewer than 4 people, we will notify you 48 hours in advance to arrange a private taxi. The cost will depend on whether the service is for 1-3 people.

If your flight arrives outside these hours, please arrange for a private taxi by emailing shuttle@bluespiritcostarica.com. 

The shuttle travels only between Liberia International Airport (LIR) and Blue Spirit, with no stops at other locations.

Booking your shuttle from Liberia Airport to Blue Spirit, please remember that the drive takes 2.5 to 3 hours.

Shuttle Wait Time

Please note that the shuttle waits for all passengers to arrive before departing, with an estimated wait time of 45 minutes. If you prefer not to wait, you can book a private taxi, subject to availability.

Please be aware that there may be some waiting time until all guests for the scheduled shuttle have arrived. Once you land, it may take between 30 to 60 minutes to go through immigration, customs, and baggage claim. After retrieving your luggage and passing through customs, you will find the shuttle organizer at LIR Airport, next to the main exit by the coffee shop, holding a Blue Spirit sign.

The coffee shop is the meeting point, so please look for the Blue Spirit sign.


Shuttle Pricing

$65.00 + IVA taxes and fees per person, each way.

Additional fees may apply for extra luggage, surfboards, or pet carriers. Please contact us at shuttle@bluespiritcostarica.com to confirm any extra charges.
Important Notes

  • Child Seats: If you need a child seat, please inform us in advance by noting it in the "Special Notes" section when booking, so we can arrange it accordingly.

  • Luggage Limit: Your booking includes 1 suitcase (up to 23 kg) and 1 carry-on. If you're bringing extra luggage, such as a pet carrier, surfboard, or more than the allowed baggage, please let us know in the "Special Notes" section when booking, as additional fees may apply.

  • Price Changes: Please note that all prices are subject to change.
